Young NCB Northern Ireland -
Opportunities
Young disabled people wanted...
« Are you a young disabled person aged
between
15-18 years old living in Northern
Ireland?
« Do you want to help change things for young
disabled people?
« Do you like asking questions and sharing
your views?
We want to hear
from you!
NCB NI are looking for 12 young disabled
people from across Northern Ireland to get involved in a group that
will give you an opportunity to have a say in the things that
affect your social lives - talking around issues about meeting
friends and having a good time, as independently as possible.
You don’t need to have previous experience of
doing something like this but you should be interested in having a
say about issues that affect you.
As a member of the group you will:
· Have
your views added to those of other disabled young people who are
currently taking part in a programme funded by BBC Children in Need
– you’ll find out more about this at the meeting.
· Get to
meet and make friends with new people.
· Get to
share your views and ideas.
· Have
some fun!
The meeting will
take place at NCB NI, Belfast on Saturday 2nd April 2011
from 11am-4.00pm
All those involved will be offered support to
take part & all travel will be paid for on the day and lunch
will be provided. You will also receive a high street
voucher for taking part!
