Young NCB are conducting weekly polls to find out about different issues which are important to children and young people. As a thank you for completing our poll, each week we will be offering one lucky member the chance to win a £10 Odeon voucher!

What is fuel poverty?

Some families in the UK have to choose between buying proper food and keeping warm. And for lots of children living in a cold home means they are more likely to suffer from illnesses like asthma and bronchitis.

Results from last week

Last week we asked you why might you want to volunteer to improve people's health where you live? 

50 % of young people said that the want to make a difference to their community, 25 % said that they wanted to improve their employability and a further 25% stated a different reason such as wanting to give something back to the community.
