Win £1,000 cash for your school AND MORE!
Take part in the My Money national
school art and PSHE education competition in the lead up to My
Money Week 2010
As part of this year's My Money programme, they are running a
national competition for secondary schools called My
Money Values.
The competition prizes are as follows:
- Five regional winners receive: iPod Touch, £1,000 cash for
their school, a visit to the school from a local artist, £50 art
shop vouchers and a framed certificate.
- Overall winner receives: All of the above plus a digital
camera.
- Regional winners will also get the opportunity to visit a grand
exhibition of all their artwork, held during My Money Week (28
June-4 July 2010).
The competition gets pupils engaged in personal finance
education in a new, wholly original and exciting way: by combining
their knowledge of personal finance with their opinions on the
value and importance of money. They are then invited to produce a
piece of art or photography that expresses what art means to
them.
The competition is supported by specially created lesson plans,
which lead pupils from specific personal finance education
curriculum learning materials into producing a competition
entry.
